Just Saying.

In all seriousness..... no, actually, I am being serious.

I could be less acerbic and say that I am presently satisfied with vintage iterations of D&D which I already own on my shelves at home, but what's the fun in that? This is the internet.
And the bands I listen to are cooler than the ones you listen to, so suck on that.

  1. I'm looking at 5th edition the same way I look at all the other retro-clones and variants; If it does something my other games don't do that I would like my games to do, I might pick it up. Otherwise, I am not buying it just because it's 'official' D&D since I already have many versions of D&D on my shelves.

  2. That's one more fuck than I give. I hated 3rd edition and didn't even look at 4th. There's nothing they can do to attract my interest at this point.

  3. Bruno- Word. Maybe someday I'll chance on a used copy at Half Priced Books and buy it, as they say, for the lulz.

Shadow- Let no man say I didn't give 4th edition a fair shot... but I have so many variants of D&D and so many fantasy games besides, I see no reason to invest in another, especially since I haven't cared for WotC's handling of the game for the last 10 years or so, and because it's a $150 buy in.

    1. I admit to have a closed mind where WOTC is concerned. At this point it's a case of "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." Fool me three times? Not a chance.
